Cortec's EcoCorr® ESD Film receives WorldStar 2006 Innovation Award in Stockholm, Sweden! |

 Cortec® Corporation (Minnesota, USA) is pleased to announce
that its latest technology innovation, EcoCorr® ESD Film, a
100% biodegradable corrosion-inhibiting, static-disipative
film has received the prestigious WorldStar 2006 award in the
electronics category from among 265 applicants from 35
countries.
"WorldStars are presented only to those packages which,
having already won recognition in a national competition, are
compared by an expert panel of judges to similar packages
from around the world. Awards are based on the judges'
consensus that a package is superior in its own right, and
better in its class in execution or innovation by comparison"
states the World Packaging Organizations website.
"Customer demands and environmental regulations have
encouraged the invention of truly disruptive technologies,
products and concepts. This type of development takes
significant time and capital investment, but the successful
introduction of EcoCorr® ESD Film and it's platform,
biodegradable polymer technology, is a testament to the
viability of these projects" stated Boris Miksic, founder and
CEO of Cortec®.
EcoCorr® ESD Film is the latest addition to Cortec's full line of
biodegradable films that are sold worldwide in forms ranging
from retail packaging in Canada, agricultural packaging films
in the United Kingdom, to automotive component transit and
storage protection in Sweden. EcoCorr® ESD Film is covered
by several USA and International patents.

Ove izbore ipak je obilježio Boris Mikšić. Dečko s Trešnjevke koji je vlastitim novcem financirao kampanju, gospodarstveniku bez podrške političkih stranaka, drugi krug pobjegao je u posljednji trenutak. Iza sebe je ostavio iskusnu političarku Đurđu Adlešić, HSP-ovu uzdanicu Slavena Leticu, Tuđmanova maga Ivića Pašalića. Građani su nagradili to što je kampanju financirao vlastitim novcem. Njegov uspjeh jasna je i jaka poruka hrvatskih građana političarima - da im sve manje vjeruju. Klasična politička pljuska.
